Get Well Soon, Chan Marshall
So I learned today on Pitchfork that Cat Power had to cancel a large part of her tour because of “illness.” I was really looking forward to the show as I am in love with her new album “The Greatest.”
Hopefully that shit gets rescheduled soon and she plays a date in L.A. I guess I could see her at Coachella (she didn’t cancel that one) but the line-up looks weak and I still have a ticket set aside for Austin City Limits. Barring any force of nature, I plan on going this year.
Lastly - this Saturday - The Elected are playing with the band Stars at the Avalon. Looking forward to a good show.
