I Will Cover Myself With Sorrow

Is it just me or is yesterday’s earthquake still a bit haunting? The unfortunate thing is my printer sits on top of my desk so there’s a constant shaking as I’m printing a bunch of stuff today. I could move it, but that requires too much effort.

Last night I slept in 2 hour intervals for a good part of the night since my apt is situated near the driveway and the rumbling of cars only added a DTS/THX experience to my dreams.

I read somewhere that after the earthquake in China, people could not set their phones to vibrate during the aftershock period.

I’m sure I’ll get over it sooner than later. Regardless, here’s a song that I feel is somewhat appropriate in light of yesterday’s events and for some other personal reasons I’ve been listening to it constantly during the days leading up to yesterday.

The Pogues - Tuesday Morning - Live on Letterman

The funny thing is, Spider Stacy looks and sounds a lot like a young Shane MacGowan in this clip. If it weren’t for the closeups where you can see his teeth, you would have never noticed.
