Two things you do no not want to hear on a plane. Yeah, there was an incident last night on my flight back to LA.
Suddenly that fight with my parents on my second to last day and any beefs I have with my bro are forgotten and all effort to make things well becomes a priority.
As far as I know the incident involved a young child and he did make it off the plane when the medical staff came on board.
In other news, I’m back.

I think I contributed in 2 major ways on this one: helping with the initial treatment and showing the director the time-lapse sequence in Zodiac, which he later used as a lighting reference.

I was lucky enough to catch M.I.A.’s show at the Echoplex last year before the album came out and before this song became Girls Nite Out Anthem 08. M.I.A. played this song last and asked everybody to put the lighters and cell phones in the air (lame), but when the song started I seriously flipped cuz I thought she was going to cover The Clash’s Straight to Hell. Still, the song was the best moment of the night and one of my favorite songs of last year.

1. Best song to listen to while running - MGMT’s Time to Pretend.
2. Worst song to listen to while running - Q Lazarus’s Goodbye Horses (Krikor Edit)
WTF was I thinking when I put that song on the shuffle? For those who don’t know, it’s that creepy song from Silence of the Lambs (and an extended remix, nonetheless). Really not a good idea for running at night, either.
But MGMT’s Time to Pretend is awesome. Like a twisted sequel to The Flaming Lips - Do You Realize.
It’s my summer jam.
