AC Newman of The New Pornographers takes on Will Sheff’s vocals and Will Sheff fills in for the departed Jonathan Meiburg who left to concentrate on Shearwater. Lost Coastlines is the first song on Okkervil River’s new album, The Stand-Ins, the sequel to The Stage Names. Okkervil had commisioned a bunch of this videos which you can see over at their Youtube Channel.

I just downloaded the Stand-Ins off of emusic and hope to listen to the album tomorrow, depending on how hard The Man decides to press his foot on my nuts.

Lost Coastlines is one of my favorite songs of this year and it’s kinda fitting since I’ve been having trouble navigating through relationships with EVERYONE around me. Time of my life.
